The kit include everything you need to convert your stock Maxx in to a full function, geometrically correct 4 wheel steering Monster truck! Comes with tools, mounts, HD turnbuckles, Stage I y-harness, servo saver and instructions. Alum. mounting brackets are machined from 7075 Super Strong Alum. Alloy. The stage I y-harness has the trim adjustment only. You will need to upgrade to the Stage II if you want Trim and Travel adjustments.
The kit works with just about any radio. You can use other servos but we do not provide support if they don't work(Traxxas Servos where used for development). If you find that the front and rear steer the same way, you can swap the front servo saver around so that it steers opposite the rear and then reverse the front servo on the radio to get it to turn the correct way. If you find a radio that does not work, please let us know your setup so that we can build a list to let others know.
Can we sell just the brackets? We do offer a repair kit that includes the brackets. We also do not sell just the toe links. This is an engineered kit and you will be much more satisfied with our products if you use them as intended.
A. Rear steering trim can be adjusted on the y-harness. Rear trim is in addtion to the trim for the front steering.
C. There is no exponetial built in.
Does not fit the original or 2.5 Maxx trucks, including E-Maxx. This kit fits the 3.3 T-Maxx and any newer versions with the Revo style wheel hubs.
Misc. Fittment Notes: Roll cages and any other accessories may attach inside the rear bulkhead. The rear steer kit also bolts up between the rear bulkhead plates.
