Yes, the rumors are true! We are now shipping 3 Speed kits for the Traxxas REVO 2.5/2.5R and 3.3. The kit is a direct bolt on that uses gear ratios that allow the use of Stock Tires!

The new kit will increase the top speed of your "STOCK" REVO 2.5/2.5R and now REVO 3.3 to 50+mph. In fact, it's almost too fast for the stock suspension setup. This setup will not currently work with .21-.30 conversions (as far as we know without modifications to your chassis)....or any other "drop in" engine. The kit moves the engine back, so if your "drop-in" engine is the exact same diamentions as the stock engine, then yes, everything should work the same.

The kit does NOT remove the reverse function. All stock transmission functions remain. The only part you will need to changes the top input shaft, but you'll reuse the stock transmission gear. This also means that you can remove the reverse function if need be.

The kit includes all the items you need to install the kit in a Stock Traxxas REVO RTR, except for an allen wrench or two....but you already have these right?
